OUR VALUES

1. WE ARE COMMITTED TO HELPING (Discipleship)
- By the power of the Holy Spirit, we nurture people in faith and equip them for Christian discipleship in order to HELP individuals, families, communities, and the world. We grow together in faith as the family of God through prayer, Christian education, active participation in the body of Christ through worship (word and sacrament), and serving others.

Ephesians 4:14-16 - We must no longer be children, tossed to and fro and blown about by every wind of doctrine . . . . But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every ligament with which it is equipped, as each part is working properly, promotes the body’s growth in building itself up in love.

2. WE ARE COMMITTED TO HEALING (Fellowship/Outreach)
- By equipping each other to be servants of Christ, we seek to bring HEALING AND WHOLENESS to our lives and to our world. In the context of congregational life, we give support and encouragement to one another by connecting people together as a Christian family for worship, study, fellowship, and service.

Romans 14:11-12 - For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall give praise to God.” So then, each of us will be accountable to God.

3. WE ARE COMMITTED TO HOPE (Evangelism)
- With faith and trust in God’s provision, we equip each other to be Jesus’ hands and feet thus offering HOPE to the world. We acknowledge that the world is God’s good creation, and that we are here for a purpose. We go into the world sharing God’s love and bringing others into a relationship with Christ.

Romans 5:1-2 - Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand; and we boast in our hope of sharing the glory of God.

4. WE ARE COMMITTED TO OFFERING A SENSE OF HOME (Worship/Welcome)

- Through worship, prayer, biblical equipping, and serving others, we create an environment that encourages and welcomes all people HOME into the fellowship and family of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus is our Lord and Savior, we are loved by God, and we are grateful for his wonderful gift of salvation.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.
